Stephen received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Langston University in Langston, OK. After years of considerable success, Mr. Carter decided to go back to school and pursue a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He received his MBA in Change Management and Finance from the University of Houston – Clear Lake and began working primarily in the Finance arena.
Stephen served as a Combat Medic in the US Army from 1988 – 1996 being awarded the US Army Merit Award for service in the Operation Desert Storm Iraq War. As a Army Veteran, Stephen is passionate about veteran care and benefits. Stephen works tirelessly to push the interests of veterans across the our country.
Mr. Carter is very active in his community. He mentors young men from the ages of 7 – 17 monthly through several community, professional and social organizations. Additionally, Mr. Carter has an active interest in a medical therapy staffing firm serving Texas and Oklahoma. His company grossed over $5M in sales for 2016. Stephen shares his success with his beautiful wife of 15 years, Daphane, Chief Operations Officer for a local charter school system, as well as his three daughters Yasmine, Madison and Morgan.
